During the 2nd world war A german(Egbert) mechical engineer was captured ,taken to bombay naval base , taken his working traial, found him worthy of doing Steam engines works,he was handed over to, K.K.Birla,Sugar mills ,needed to smooth working of steam engines of the Gobind sugar,then Oudh sugar rosa sugar , sehora upper ganges sugar ,, he set up all the engines of above said mills very nice and good working order , After few years he was accorded many facilities , living , food ,entertaiment etc A compressor fitter was very friendly with german engineer ,he happened to arrange a friend for him , she visited him and became very friendly , She lived in Dhampur,keep the rumers , he stared visited her at Dhampur , A Salim Tonga was arrainged for him with the knowldge of Administration ,war ended so the love affair ,but do not know more about him only know he was send to delhi , Birla office,so the after no trace of Egbert known ,
